“..ABC Medical anounces partnership with HKD Outreach as part of expansion..”

HKD Outreach, a comprehensive outpatient addiction and behavioral health provider with services across Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire has acquired the ABC Medical brand with a clinic in Massachusetts and services across the Commonwealth.  All services will continue uninterrupted, and staff will transition to the new brand.  Existing clients will automatically be offered services through the new facility.

ABC Medical was founded in 2019 with the vision of providing a collaborative, clinical care model supported by technology platforms, aimed at offering mental health and substance use disorder treatment. ABC Medical, a BSAS licensed counseling clinic, serves more than 2,000 patients at the time of the transition with a full spectrum of addiction and mental health care in the region it served.  By joining HKD Outreach, ABC Medical will be able to expand its legacy services and continue to provide the best patient experiences, life-saving care, and other services to those struggling with the disease of addictions and mental illness.

There are many synergies between the models of care provided by ABC  and HKD, so patients and community partners should continue to expect high-quality care and best-in-class outcomes.  Both programs leverage data, analysis, and leading technology platforms to improve patient engagement and produce desirable outcomes.  Treatment programs address the biological, psychological, and social components of behavioral health and addiction.  They are personalized and generally include medication, visits with a medical provider, one-to-one counseling, and group therapy help patients achieve lasting recovery.  Inpatient services are now also available.

People or families seeking help in ABC Medical’s coverage region can continue to call for assistance at (617) 201-1002.  New patients will be accepted during the time of transition, including same-day scheduling when available.  Hours of operation, providers, and services will be unchanged unless patients are otherwise notified.
